As you walk up to the brightly lit courtyard you see a merry young woman dressed as an... elf? Ah well! More Christmas spirit! She insists that you hand over your holiday invitation before entering the brightly lit courtyard.
Music glimmers throughout the area and fills you with a sense of happiness and the smell of food makes your mouth water. Hurry up and hand her your invitation already!
As soon as you are granted in you pass the wreath and holly covered gates into the courtyard beyond and see a giant Christmas tree decorated with bright lights and ornaments of every shape size and color!
A large table is laden with food and it seems more is being served with each passing moment. How can the tables support much more?
A band is playing soft cheery music which occasionally turns into a jazzy tune that was just made to get out on the dance floor and shake your booty too.
Gifts are piled next to the stage; perhaps everyone will be receiving a special gift on Christmas day? Either way in order to receive your gift you must have turned in your invitation to that cheery elf!
Well what are you waiting for? Get partying!

Aaah, the winter season; what a wonderful time of year. The crisp aroma of pine and other lovely plants fill the air, and winter berries grow upon snow covered bushes. Families start to cut down trees for their Christmas celebration, covering the luxurious green with reflective tinsels, gingerbread ornaments, candy canes, and lights.
The annual Winter Festival of Lizik is finally entering it's mid point; the decorations are more festive, and there are more creative dishes for the people who join the party. There was a strange yet delectable scent of the mixed dishes lingering the courtyard, making Akito wince slightly; he wasn't at all the person you would find at a festival like this, but, something had made him want to join the rest of the trainers of Lizik. He was dressed in a snow white coat, a thin, fur-covered hood hiding his face. His white hair covered his silvery-blue eyes, and the black striped coontails ran down his chest. Below, he wore dark jeans and average tennis shoes.
Beside him, a small riolu plodded beside him, examining the pureness of the white snow. He hugged himself for a moment, then looked up at Aki. With his white hair over his eyes, and those long coontails, he looked very... different. The riolu almost missed his face, though it had only been a few minutes. Well, at least he's not wearing those dark colored clothes to the festival! The riolu said to himself, grinning. "So, Akito?" Aki looked over to him, seeming blind to his small companion. "So what?" He asked quietly, his voice slightly frail. "What are you going to do at the festival?" Akito grinned, and shrugged slightly. "Probably nothing. Possibly something. I have nothing better to do.." A short sigh escaped his mouth.
As they approached the Communications Center, Akito fished the invitation out of his jacket pocket, and looked at it. Fancy. He thought as he twirled the red and green card around. A woman with what looked like a Elf costume was waiting at the entrance of the celebration. "Well, here we are." Akito said, no trace of excitement or happiness in his voice.

She gently sniffed the air, mouth watering at the smells. She had picked up this invitation from the Advent Calendar a day or so ago. It was an obnoxiously red and green invitation. She pulled it from her pocket and looked at it before looking up at the cheery person in front of her. "Um.. This?" she gently handed over the invitation and the lady took it from her gloved hands.

Kokeilun glanced inside the gates, it seemed she was the second to arrive at this party. The smells and music urged her inside and she took small steps forward, slightly unsure. She wrapped her cloak tight around her, the one which hid her long pink tail. Her ears were hidden by a cap. Her paw like hands hidden by her gloves. If she was careful no one would know she wasn't fully human.
She gently fingered her POkeballs which she had found a way to attatch to a belt 'round her waist. Easily acessable in case she got into trouble. After what had happened at the last party, Jukain and herself launching forward into the food, she had decided it was best to keep them all safe and sound in thier pokeballs. For the time being at any rate.
She cast her eyes around the place, first over the tree then the food and the presents and then the band, playin lively tunes. She twitched an ear under her cap, she could hear it fine, a happy tune of Jingle Bells. Or so it seemed.
SHe smiled gently to herself and then inched over to the food, glancing over the table. There was so much there! How could two people eat this much? For there were only two people at this party. At this thought she slid her eyes over the stranger, she had never seen him before but she wasn't about to go over and strike up a conversation, just yet. Perhaps... in a minute or two.
Kokei's attention returned to the food and she searched for a plate. She found one and loaded it up with all the festive goodies she could fit on it.

When he and his companion --not to mention the other guest who came to the celebration alone-- entered the building, Akito removed his hood that hid his face, and ran one hand through his white hair. The large space that housed the three of them was warm and lit with fancy chandeliers and wall lights. The smell of holiday munchies and meals were overwhelming to the small riolu, but he kept from eating the colorful delectables that lay in front of him on tables with fancy embroidered table cloths.
Akito had only looked over once to the other visitor. He wondered where all of the other crazy party-goers were; hopefully they weren't early, being early to a celebration this big, especially with only one other visitor, a female, was going to get a bit... awkward after a while. They would have to talk eventually, which was something.. Akito wasn't fond of; talking to random strangers.
Riolu pranced about the cream tiled room, examining all of the colorful decorations, shiny tinsels, and crystal orbs that were carefully placed upon the large evergreen tree that stood towering over the small pokemon; it... intimidated, if that was the right word, him, making a slight shiver run down his spine; Imagine.. this evergreen could fall over and crush his frail body without effort! What a wonderful thought at a Christmas celebration; death. On a happier side, he ran off, scurrying around the decorated tables, trying to snag a cookie without being scowled by Akito.

She turned away from the table then, setting her eyes on the gaint tree. She wondered breifly why it was decorated so... Christmas... the name of the holiday floated through her mind and she briefly remembered Christmas in... that place... but there hadn't been any tree's and those.. boxes in brightly colored paper... Why? That had never been present in the ... that place.
When she had been allowed to walk around there had been small bits that proved that this holiday wasn't just made up. Small cards with a large fat guy in a red suit and even somesort of round circle made out of branches of tree's... A wreath was what it had been called. But those boxes.
Was it normal to have them? She wouldn't know... she'd never seen them before in... well... She shivered. She must turn her mind away from those thoughts. Instead she would ask.... that stranger. Perhaps he.. he would know?
She picked up a cookie in a gloved hand and nibbled gently on it as she walked over. "Um.. H-hello." She said hesitantly. "Um.. I have a question for you.. Perhaps you.. could ah help?" she didn't look up, didn't meet his eyes. Instead she transferred her rather piled up plate of food to the other hand and gestured to the boxes by the stage. "What are those?" she didn't specify whether it was the boxes she spoke of, the band or even the decorations of holly and mistletoe.
"And why is the tree decorated so?" she asked, glancing up to him. she picked up a cookie, tree shaped with green sprinkles. she looked at it and set it down before picking up a santa one and she held it up for him to see. "And who's this?"
Now wasn't that odd? A Sixteen year old girl not knowing what Christmas was, who Santa was? Who was she and where had she been all this time? Certainly there couldn't be a single kid out there who DIDN'T know who Santa was, what the holdiay was. But... She was there, holding out a Santa cookie and innocently asking these questions, with rather wide, strangely colored eyes. Eyes of pale green with darker blue flecks.
She... didn't know? She knew nothing of this holdiay? What a... strange girl.

This girl... she was in her mid-teens and didn't know who Santa Clause was, or even, what Christmas was? She was indeed a strange girl. Where had she come from? Akito could just keep wondering, since it was considered impolite to some people to ask where they came from; and he wasn't going to take a chance with Kokei.
Aki tilted his head slightly while he listened to her ramble on and on with questions. How many questions can this girl have about this holiday? I thought everyone knew of the fat man dressed in red with a under-groomed face, and the whole concept of Christmas; she must have came from some stranded island or somewhere where Christmas isn't acknowledged.
"The the boxes? Underneath all of that shiny wrapping paper and ribbons, is a gift from one person to another. Inside could be anything; clothing, games, artwork, electrons; almost anything you could imagine, even pokemon. Sometime soon, you'll be able to open up one of those boxes, and you'll see what I'm talking about."
Hew wasn't sure if she was asking about the presents or mistletoe and holly decorations, so he went on. "And those decorations over there, those are mistletoe and holly. There's a tradition that if you and someone else end up below a mistletoe, you have to kiss then.[/b]" He grinned. "The tree is decorated like that to bring out the cheerful spirit in everyone, I think. Personally, I've always thought it was a waste of your... er... It's a wonderful, cheery decoration that many people have in their own individual houses." Aki didn't want to spoil her holiday cheer... just yet.
"And this guy? He's just some fat guy dressed in a red suit called Santa Clause. He's the guy that's supposed to deliver presents to "All of the good boys and girls on Christmas day." I personally think that, if he's really real, he's a fat burglar that leaves presents under your tree..and of course, eats your food." Riolu looked up at Aki, his mouth agape. How could Aki say something so foul about Santa Clause like that!

She waited politly for his answers, nervously at that. And then they came. His voiuce rang out and she listened raptly to every word, hanging onto every syllabol that came from his lips.
"Gifts?" she asked excitedly, she knew what a gift was one nice lab assistant, the only one there who had been nice, had given her a gift, she had called it, of extra rations of food.
But it seemed these gifts would be even better! Clothing? Toys? Even a Pokemon? "Wow." she breathed in excitement and awe. "People actually give gifts freely here?" she asked
She had recived... other 'gifts' as well but she'd had to work for them. a new hair brush, shoes, hair ties and even one time a chocolate bar. But that had been when she was young and cute that she was able to get some 'gifts'
"And I'll be getting one?" she remembered the letter and nodded. "Oh yeah! The letter that I got said we'd each recive a special gift..."
She looked to the stage and nodded, Holly and Mistletoe. And... Wait what? "Huh."
Kissing? She jerked visably and her food plate wavered, food almost spilling off of it. She jerked her head up to the ceiling, nothing there. No mistletoe. "Why... Why do you have to kiss them? Can't you just... hug them?" she asked, but giving hugs to strangers also made her feel... awkward.
And he was still explaining and so she returned her attention to him. "I think it looks nice." she said, shifting her eyes to the tree. "It must have taken a long time to decorate..."
And There...what she was most interested in. The fat guy. Santa... His name was Santa Claws? "Claws? Like... Claws claws?" she lifted up a hand and made the gesture for a cat, hand up as if she were clawing at something.
He was giving out presents, well that was nice. "Well it's nice he gives things to people! Spread the... what did you say? Cheer?" she nodded. "But... He eats all of your food? Why? What if your poor and can't afford much food!? Or do you have to place like... an offering for him? Does he take the food offering in exchange for giving out the gifts?" she asked, eyes growing wider and more confused.

Those who collected letters but did not arrive at the party will recive a nifty little gift called Blue Dye. This Dye will allow you to send in one of your Pokemon and dye it, as it were, blue! The Dye is permanite and can not be changed except with another dye of a different color!
Those who collected letters and came to the party will recive the following when you RP opening your presents
Blue dye (with card attatched about what it does)
Purple Dye (with card attatched about what it does)
Yellow Dye (with card attatched about what it does)
Dye of your choice! (An empty jar with a tag saying 'Dye of yoru chocie')
1 Pokemon, of your choice (does NOT have to be a Pokemon you own) recolored to look Christmasy.
1 Vulpix, Christmas colored!
1 Snover, Normal colored!
1 Max revive
1 Sunstone
To those that did not collect a letter. I'm terrably sorry but you can no longer find one. This board is closed to all exept the two who posted (;-; *saaaad* )
How ever the Advent Calendar still has some neat items! Go check it out~
